Comfort Over Awkward

As I have mentioned in the past week I have FINALLY gotten new gym clothes.  My husband gave me $200 to spend in Utah next week and I spent $115 of it before we have even left the state (I may have a shopping problem).  let me tell you that it was well worth it.

Yes, the commercial is annoying (I secretly like it, shhh, don’t tell), but my Old Navy Active Wear was worth a try.  Today I wore the most adventurous pants I bought, 3/4 length pant. I have to say that I am usually very self-conscience about the Clothes I wear to the gym, but I have come to terms with the fact that I have rolls in places I don’t want them (isn’t that why I’m at the gym in the first place?).  I sucked it up and the clothes are COMFORTABLE.  I see why gym clothes are important.  And I didn’t feel that awkward at all!

Don’t mind my messy bedroom, and the dust on my mirror. I clean after I shower.  And do you see the bump on my right side there?  That is my pedometer that I started wearing again today.

Besides the headache I woke up with this morning, I feel pretty good.  It was my last workout of Phase 3, and I will be taking the next week off until I start Phase 4.  I don’t want to have to worry about weight lifting in a foreign gym while on vacation next week.  But I will be sticking with cardio so that I can stay in the habit.

Now I need to do some cleaning (the dust on that mirror is seriously starting to make me twitch).  Workout re-cap in tonight’s perfection post.

Do you notice a difference in the clothes you wear to the gym?
