The First Day for 6 Months

Sweat it Out:

45 Minutes Elliptical

15 Minutes TNRLW

10 Minutes Stretching

Man, today has been a mentally frustrating day.  You may have noticed that I have switched the blog over to wordpress.  The export was SO easy!  It only took me 2 minutes to get all posts switched over, it’s everything else that has been a pain in my a**.  I have heard so many people say that wordpress is easier to use, and so far some of the things have been a lot easier.  But I have had a hard time making it my own with fonts and coloring.  Hopefully I’ll pick up on the learning curve pretty quick in the next few days.

I started the day out with a GREAT workout! Went with the regular Elliptical, and then when I came home I finally started “The New Rules of Lifting for Women”. I found a work out buddy and we will be starting “Workout B” on Wednesday.  I have never sweat so much as today!  Here is the workout and how I did.

Stage 1 Workout A

  • Basic Squat 2 Reps of 15
  • Push-up 2 Reps of 15
  • Seated Row 2 Reps of 15
  • Step-up 2 Reps of 15
  • Prone Jackknife 2 Reps of 8
I did the exercises in my room with the full length mirror to make sure that I had good form.  I didn’t have much weight just my Firm Sculpting Stick.  The exercises weren’t too bad except I suck at push-ups and I didn’t have an exercise ball to do the Jackknifes with (I think I’ll have to work up to that exercise).
The whole program starts in Stage 1 and lasts for one month.  Then you move onto stage 2 and so on and so forth.  The author says that if you want to stay in a stage longer than what is said that is fine.  I will most likely be doing stage 1 for 8 weeks instead of 4.  I do feel the squats in my legs now, I will be sore tomorrow.  I can’t wait to get some weights so that I can increase the level on the workouts that I can do.
I feel like I’m been sitting in front of a computer screen ALL DAY LONG!  no wonder my daughter won’t go to sleep she probably wants to spend time with mama!
Are you doing any type of workout program?
How do you like the new site so far?
